Two of our students had the privilege of attending the “Empower through Reading” program, supported by CHANEL and SCMP. The event began with an inspiring panel discussion featuring Olympian Siobhan Haughey and education leader Joanna Hotung, who shared how reading fosters creativity, empathy, and resilience. This was followed by a guided book club session where students explored the book Quiet, delving into the strengths of introversion and its role in leadership. Finally, they participated in a hands-on AI workshop, learning how AI enhances text analysis while recognizing its limitations. The event was a transformative experience, inspiring lifelong skills and insights.
