S1 Self-Reliance Training Camp (1A & 1C)

The three-day, two-night S1 Self-Reliance Training Camp has come to a successful and fruitful close! Throughout the camp held at BGCA Bradbury Camp in Sai Kung, students from S1A and S1C navigated every challenge with remarkable resilience and vitality.

From ice-breaking and collaborative activities on the first day that fostered team rapport, to conquering high ropes courses, building bamboo rafts, and competing in dodgebee matches on the second day, our Pooi To girls bravely stepped out of their comfort zones. Amid sweat and laughter, they learned mutual trust and became each other’s strongest pillar of support. On the final day, without the aid of any instruction manual, the students relied solely on bamboo poles and ropes, applying their creativity and problem-solving skills to successfully construct Roman catapults—a true showcase of outstanding teamwork and perseverance.

Over these three days, the camp not only strengthened their physical endurance but also witnessed their transformation and growth, reflected in their radiant and confident smiles. May our  S1A and S1C students cherish this precious friendship and courage as sustenance to soar to greater heights and continue striving for self-improvement in their future school life!
