During today’s Life-wide Learning session, the History and Chinese History departments organized a historical field trip for S2 students to the St. Stephen’s College Heritage Trail. Thanks to the insightful explanations provided by the host school’s teachers and student guides, our students had the privilege to step foot in declared monuments and view a variety of unique and precious historical artifacts. This allowed them to learn about the early development of education in Hong Kong and the history of the Battle of Hong Kong. By reflecting on the war-torn years of World War II, students not only deepened their understanding of the intersection between Hong Kong and world history, but also profoundly appreciated the selfless devotion of our predecessors in defending our homeland.
