Today marks the celebration of the 138th anniversary of Pooi To's founding. During the morning assembly, the Student Union joined teachers and students in reflecting on the past year's journey of school enhancements and various activities, and presented a hand-painted illustration of the school campus along with a woven school badge as a heartfelt gift to the school.
In addition, a Thanksgiving Service was held this afternoon to commemorate the 138th anniversary. Vice Principal Mr Wong encouraged us through the message from the Book of Esther, leading us to reflect on the meaning of the school motto "Love, Integrity, Purity and Perseverance" through the testimony of Esther's life. At the same time, by revisiting the silent contributions of our predecessors to Pooi To's development, we are reminded to deeply appreciate the preciousness of today's achievements and to cultivate a spirit of gratitude and legacy.
