This morning, students studying Business, Accounting and Financial Studies (BAFS) attended the Google Cloud Education Summit Hong Kong, hosted by Google Cloud at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. During the Gemini Academy Student Workshop, students engaged in hands-on exploration of Gemini 3.0 Pro, Google’s latest AI technology, gaining deep insights into the potential applications of technology within both academic and business contexts.
The workshop covered a diverse range of practical AI skills, including the use of Generative AI to create professional presentations and visual assets, as well as the formulation of personalized study schedules to enhance self-directed learning efficiency. Furthermore, the speaker placed significant emphasis on information literacy, guiding students in practicing the Double Check Response technique to identify and mitigate AI Hallucinations. Through this experience, we hope that our students will not only master these technological tools but also cultivate the critical thinking skills necessary to discern the authenticity of information, thereby laying a solid foundation for their future careers in the business sector.
