Hong Kong InnoHealth Cup 2026

A team of our S5 Biology students participated in the Hong Kong InnoHealth Cup 2026 hosted by LKS Faculty of Medicine, HKU. This competition aims to inspire secondary school students to cultivate empathy for real-world health issues and harness their creativity to develop innovative biomedical technologies through research.

Our team’s innovative solution, “MindMark,” is an interactive game app designed for the early diagnosis of amnestic Mild Cognitive Impairment (aMCI). By training an AI model to detect early signs of aMCI based on player performance, our students hope to facilitate early lifestyle interventions—such as diet, exercise, and cognitive stimulation—that can delay the onset of dementia by 2 to 5 years.

During the Project Showcase Expo, the team passionately presented their ideas to the honorable judges and broadened their horizons through valuable knowledge-sharing with other participating schools.
