Our school held its opening ceremony for the new academic year, with all teachers and students in high spirits, welcoming a hopeful new semester.
The principal introduced this year's theme, "Upholding Integrity, Preserving Purity," encouraging students to let honesty and moral clarity guide their growth. In a complex world, she emphasised, noble character is the foundation for walking steadily on a bright path.
Students learn to sing the theme hymn, "The Lord's Prayer." Amid the solemn and uplifting melody, students embraced its sacred message, filling the new term with spiritual strength and peace.
We were also honoured to welcome outstanding alumna Michelle Mui, now studying at HKUST, who shared fond memories of her time at our school, expressing gratitude for the people and lessons that shaped her. Encouraging her younger Pooi To girls, she reminded them that while life brings challenges, perseverance turns obstacles into stepping stones. She urged everyone to stay focused on their goals and move forward with courage.
The ceremony closed in a warm, uplifting atmosphere. May all students begin this new chapter with integrity and purpose, and together write a brilliant new story.
