Congratulations to our students for winning the First runner-up in the “Hong Kong Financial Literacy Championship 2026 – Young Financial Talent Runway” organised by HK Economic Journal Education, co-organised by the EDB and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, with EdCity as the supporting organisation.
The competition aims to enable secondary school students to understand at an early stage the development trends in innovation, financial technology and AI, to establish correct financial values, and to cultivate an innovative spirit and practical abilities.
The team consists of five students who have studied Chinese History, Economics, BAFS, and Geography. After undergoing the preliminary round interviews and multiple training sessions, they entered the final of the “Smart Bridge Finance” scheme. The scheme mainly utilises big data and artificial intelligence technology to assist small and medium enterprises in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area in exploring Southeast Asian markets.
